Rock Python, 2019

Acrylic on canvas
61 x 76 cm

'The python is camouflaged in the environment. The circles are the life force of the land. In the sandy area the women are sitting around the fire. The foot prints follow from camp to camp sites. The hands say we belong to the land. The top left and right hand side has 2 hand signs one is my grandson's Ren, the right side is Kye. Bottom left 2 hand signs are my granddaughter's Maddison and Mia. This adds to the story that they are the future children belonging to this land'. Colin Jones.
