Aboriginal Art Galleries is a family run business. Founded as a network of galleries within Sydney over 15 years ago, it is only recently they have been under the one umbrella of Aboriginal Art Galleries (AAG).

Venita Poblocki
Manager
Venita spent her early years growing up in the desert town of Coober Pedy. Her parents had worked with Aboriginal people and she subsequently spent time on Aboriginal lands and remote communities developing a relationship with the people and an appreciation of their culture. She then went on to do a Masters in Art Administration and worked as an Aboriginal Art Specialist at Lawson Menzies Auctioneers before managing galleries.

Neira Nayer
Bondi Beach Gallery Manager/ Co-owner

Neira has been in the Aboriginal Art industry since 2003. Understanding Aboriginal culture and heritage has increased her love and appreciation for Aboriginal peoples and their art.

Scott Townley-Jones
Bondi Beach Gallery Co-Manager/Senior Sales
Scott spent many years travelling various regions of Australia. He exposed himself to fine Aboriginal art as well as an appreciation for learning and teaching the Didgeridoo. He has worked for AAG for four years.

Bridget Macleod
Gallery Assistant/ Sales
Bridget has been working with us for the past four years. She has just completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Art History and Ancient History.

Mairin Donnelly
Gallery Assistant/Sales
Mairin has a background in advertising and has recently switched careers to follow her passion in Aboriginal art and culture. She is currently studying her Masters in Curatorial and Museum Studies at the University of Sydney.

Bianca Gregson
Gallery Assistant/Sales
 Bianca has recently joined our team after graduating with a Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts from the Australian Catholic University. Continuing her studies this year, Bianca engages both her interests by splitting her time between Aboriginal Art Galleries and art teaching.

Katy Preston

Katy is currently undertaking a double degree at the University of NSW, majoring in Art Theory and Anthropology. Working at Aboriginal Art Galleries Katy combines her two fields of study with her passion for Aboriginal art and culture.

Phoebe Rathmell
Gallery Assistant/ Sales
Phoebe is currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in painting at the University of NSW. Her love of Aboriginal art coupled with her own artistic practice makes the Aboriginal Art Galleries an inspiring place to work.

 Sam is currently undertaking a Masters at the Conservatorium of Music, in
which she is researching the relationship between Visual Art and Music.
